HISTORICAL AMERICAN 13-STAR CENTENNIAL PARADE FLAG, printed cotton muslin cloth laid to paper, featuring a Great Star within a "Wreath" and corner stars, with period inscribed poem on flag, and with attached ribbon marked for "HATTIE M. HODGE". Circa 1876. Flag 3 1/2" x 5 1/2".
Condition
Very good overall condition, removed from a scrapbook, with minor areas of discoloration, fading to inscription.
