HL-3 "WASHINGTON" / "LAFAYETTE" HISTORICAL PRESSED OPEN SALT, colorless, scallop-and-point rim, name faintly embossed above each bust, grape bunch and leaf base. Listed as unique by Neal. Probably New England Glass Co. 1830-1840. 2 1/8" H, 2 1/8" x 3".

Condition

Lafayette side with an inner-rim chip affecting two scallops and one point, also with a crack, possibly annealing off the rim and around the corner to center of end, some light mold roughness.
