Catalogue Note: Little has been recorded about the 18th century books that Jane Austen might have read in her father's library, which included the present newly discovered volume. Numerous pages contain vertical inked marginal lines marking favorite lines or passages, possibly annotated by Jane Austen herself.

Very good condition, interior tight and mostly clean, one plate with archival tape repair, some expected soiling and light splits to vellum.
