INTERNATIONAL SILVER CO. "SERENITY" STERLING SILVER 39-PIECE FLATWARE SET, pattern designed by Lillian V.M. Helander in 1940, comprising six place forks, eight salad forks, five cream soup spoons, six teaspoons, six butter spreaders, a serving/tablespoon, a gravy ladle, and six place knives with hollow handles and stainless blades. Each with "STERLING" and maker's marks. Total weight excluding hollow-handled knives: 38.84 ozt. International Silver Co., Meriden, CT. Mid/second half 20th century. 5 3/4" to 9" LOA.
Good to very good overall condition with some wear, surface scratches, and other imperfections including nicks, one or a few minute dents, and/or slight worn spots to pattern.
