ITALIAN NEAPOLITAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) PAINTING, polychrome tempera on paper, titled "CENERE DEL 1794" along lower edge, depicting the Bay of Naples and figures watching Vesuvius erupt with ships in foreground, all within a black border, no signature located. Housed under glass in a later black-painted wood frame. 19th century. 10 3/4" x 16 1/2" image, 15" x 19 1/2" OA.
