ITALIAN STERLING SILVER COVERED ICE BUCKET, cylindrical form with applied handles and a stepped foot rim, topped by a domed cover having large acorn-type finial, interior plastic lining to cover and base, base liner removable with an unattached sterling rim. Cover, base, and unattached rim with Italian maker's mark of "29 PD" for Rino Greggio of Padova and "925". Total weight excluding base liner and including cover liner: 41.35 ozt. Fourth quarter 20th century. 11 3/4" HOA, 7 3/4" H rim, 6 7/8" D rim.
Provenance: From an Arizona estate collection.
Very good overall condition with some wear and surface scratches, some minute/minor nicks, possibly one or a few minor dents, tape residue to side of base, removable rim not fitting properly and sitting loosely on base.
