JAMES H. OWEN, SEAGROVE, NORTH CAROLINA DECORATED STONEWARE PITCHER, salt-glazed, approximately one-quart capacity, ovoid from with applied medial-channel strap handle and pronounced foot. Incised with single sinewave to neck and double sinewave within coggled borders on shoulder, enhanced with brushed cobalt leaf-like decoration to waves. Attributed to Jams Henry Owen (1866-1923), Moore Co., NC. Circa 1900. 7 1/2" H, 4 1/2" D rim.
