JOHN DEACONS (SCOTTISH, B. 1950) WAGON WHEEL CONCENTRIC MILLEFIORI PAPERWEIGHT, central blue and white star cane encircled by a single interior garland of white Stardust-type canes, seven middle wedges created with white, peach, and lavender filigree twists creating a wagon wheel, with matching white and purple Maltese Cross canes in the center of the wedges, all encircled by four fuchsia Stardust-type canes and isolated white and lavender Clichy-style roses, all above an opaque yellow ground, signature cane to the underside, retains manufacturing label, polished pontil mark. Deacons Glass, Crieff, Scotland. 21st century. 3" D.
