JOHN REMMEY III, MANHATTAN, NEW YORK DECORATED STONEWARE DIMINUTIVE JAR, salt-glazed, approximately half-gallon capacity, semi-ovoid form with wide-mouth, plain rim, and open loop handles. Incised five-petal flower with brushed cobalt infill to each side, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Early 19th century. 7 1/2" H, 5 1/2" D rim.
