KARSTEN PETERSEN (FORSYTH CO., NORTH CAROLINA, 1776-1857), ATTRIBUTED, PAINT-DECORATED YELLOW PINE CHEST OF DRAWERS, featuring rectangular top with rounded front corners, four full drawers flanked by solid ends, the whole raised on robust turned feet with ebonized surface. Poplar secondary wood. Original red-and-black paint-decorated surface. Circa 1850. 44 1/2" H, 42" W, 20" D.
