KENTUCKY C&O RAILROAD BRIDGE PLANS AND PHOTOS, LOT OF TEN, for the Big Sandy Junction bridge at Ashland between Catlettsburg, Kentucky and Kenova, West Virginia, comprising two large masonry plans, scale 4ft = 1 inch, and three small plans, drawn in 1893 by C. P. Barnett, Resident Engineer; and five albumen photos on cards of the bridge construction and the elevated bridge into town, penciled on each back "J. W. Schmidt / Artist / Ashland, Ky". Along with two smaller Albumen photos on cards of bridge construction, one possibly of the covered bridge at Covington. Twelve (12) pieces total. Circa 1893. Large plans: 38" x 80" and 31" x 160". Photos: 5" x 6" to 10" x 12" OA.
Plans in excellent condition, photos intact but boards with losses, one photo with corner crease.
