KENTUCKY / TENNESSEE FIGURED CHERRY SUGAR CHEST, hinged rectangular lid, divided interior, reeded pilasters, and single full drawer at base, the whole raised on tall aggressively turned legs. Poplar secondary wood. Retaining likely original bone kite-form escutcheon and an old surface with warm color. Reserve. Circa 1825. 33 1/2" H, 33" W, 17 3/4" D.
