LABEL UNDER GLASS APOTHECARY BOTTLES, LOT OF SEVEN, cylindrical and square forms with tooled mouths, assorted glass colors each with painted labels indicating contents including a large electric blue French bottle labeled "TEINT: de SCAMMONEE", various amber bottles with ground glass stoppers and contents including "HYDROGEN PEROXIDE", "P. ACACIAE", "TR. BELLAD.", each amber example with W.T. Co (Whitall Tatum Glass Co.) marking embossed to undersides, green with unknown marking, and blue with polished pontil scar. Various makers. Late 19th/early 20th century. 9 1/4" HOA.

Condition

Generally very good to excellent condition, some having discoloration/minor losses around the edges of the painted labels or nicking/damage to colorless glass label-coverings; green bottle with stopper firmly wedged in the neck and with a related crack to the neck at rear.
