LARGE VICTORIAN BRASS AND JEWELED ELECTRIC HANGING HALL LAMP / CHANDELIER, brass with many faceted jewels in many sizes and colors, large spherical font with openwork floral pattern, interior single socket, terminating in an upper hub featuring four vertical arms that internally support four curved figural dragon arms each hold a single socket with foliate shade prongs, upper spherical featuring with four hanging hooks holding four draped medallions, upper ceiling mount. Maker unverified. Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. 40" HOA, 19" DOA.
Condition
Excellent condition overall with some jewels having surface wear or crizzling; one curved arm being slightly loose; three sets of foliate prongs being quite loose but not detached; one upper support arm having a small puncture, ceiling mount having a small solder repair to the overlay decoration, some scattered wear/surface scratching.
