Housed in original frame, with art exhibition on reverse. Pencil inscribed on reverse as being sent to "Mrs. Cleves H. Howell / Loma, Mesa Co., / Colorado". Together with an attributed Colorado landscape to Laura van Pappelendam, no signature located. Two pieces total. Circa 1935. 8 12/2" x 10 1/2" sight, 12 3/4" x 15" OA.
Catalogue Note: Cleves Harrison Howell (1911-1970) appears in the 1940 U.S. Federal Census as living in Estes Park, Colorado, originally a native of Iowa, like the artist.
