LEHNWARE-TYPE FOOTED SAFFRON CUP, turned pine with original polychrome painted surface depicting strawberries against a yellow ground, stamped on the underside "JBB / 1932". Done in the manner of Joseph Long Lehn (1798-1892), Lancaster Co., PA. 1932. 5 1/2" H.
Catalogue Note: The present lot was owned by the consignor's father, having lost the original top, he has a craftsman make a replacement.
Condition
Very good overall condition, with one possible very minor crack, and with minor wear.
