MANHATTAN BRASS CO. NICKEL-PLATED KEROSENE SINGLE-ARM STUDENT LAMP, vertical tank on adjustable central shaft, weighted foot. Fitted with a period setup comprising a slip burner, a cased emerald-green conical-form shade. Non-period colorless chimney. Circa 1879. 27" H to top of shade, 20 1/4" H to top of ring, 6" D foot. Shade 6" H, 7" D fitter.

Good overall condition, scattered surface rust to the foot, reservoir and cover with some scattered light denting. Setup undamaged, shade fitter with some very minute roughness.
