MANHATTAN BRASS CO. PATENTED BRASS HURRICANE / SKATER'S LANTERN, cobalt-blue tapered globe, removable perforated cap with original chain, crimped smoke bell and ring handle, impressed "PAT'D DEC 24, 1867, lightly stepped conical-form font with original burner, thumbwheel marked "W. B. & CO. WATERBURY, CT". Circa 1867. 15 1/2" H to top of chain ring, 9 3/8" H to top of cap, 3 3/4" D base.

Condition
Excellent condition, expected wear, some scattered light denting, top globe rim with probably as-made flakes/roughness. Burner undamaged.
