MARMADUKE CRADOCK (BRITISH, 1660-1717), ATTRIBUTED / SCHOOL OF PAINTING OF HEN AND CHICKS, oil on mahogany board, depicting a silver Houdon hen and her two chicks in a landscape setting, no signature located. Housed in a custom frame by Dr. H. Marshall Goodman Sr. Probably 18th century. 13 1/4" x 15 3/4" board, 19 3/4" x 22 1/2" sight.

Condition

Very good condition, repair to horizontal crack at hen's head and with associated minor in-painting, several other small spots of in-painting.
