MARYLAND / NORTH CAROLINA EARTHENWARE / REDWARE ARTICLES, LOT OF TWO, comprising a covered sugar attributed to Henry Schofield, featuring impressed bowtie-style design encircling shoulder, and a Walter N. Owen vase with brownish orange glaze, incised "W.N. OWEN" to underside. Henry Schofield (1861-1946), Cecil County, MD; Walter N. Owen (1895-1981), North State Pottery, Sanford, NC. First half 20th century. 9" HOA.
Condition
Schofield cover having glued repair and some scattered chips/flakes to edge; Owen example having two spots of glaze exfoliation and a rim hairline.
