MID-ATLANTIC DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "3" gallon capacity mark, ovoid form with squared rim and applied arched tab handles. Bold brushed cobalt vertical double bloom flower with figure-eight-style petals to each side, additional cobalt to handle terminals. Circa 1850. 13 1/2" H, 8 1/2" D rim.
Condition
Having some scattered chips to base edge, two chips to rim, one shallow, and whitish residue to interior and some exterior.
