MID-ATLANTIC EARTHENWARE / REDWARE VESSELS, LOT OF TWO, single lead-glazed, comprising a deep bowl/pan with manganese spatter decoration to interior and incised ring to exterior below the rounded rim; and an approximate quart capacity wide-mouth cream pot/jar with rounded rim. Probably Pennsylvania. 1820-1875. 3 7/8" H, 11" D; and 4 3/4" H, 6" D.
Provenance: Property of Old Salem Museum & Gardens, Winston Salem, NC; deaccessioned and sold to benefit the acquisitions fund.
