MID-ATLANTIC PAINTED POPLAR BLANKET CHEST, the rectangular hinged lid over a dovetailed case above two short drawers, all raised on an applied cut-out bracket-foot base. Retaining original wrought-iron strap hinges and an early red-painted surface. First quarter 19th century. 25 1/2" H, 20 1/2" D, 44 1/2" W.
