MID-ATLANTIC, POSSIBLY SHENANDOAH VALLEY OF VIRGINIA FRAKTUR WRITING SAMPLER, ink and watercolor on paper, comprising verses, numerals, and letters, above a lower line "Anno 1803, den 21 ten Jenner, die se Vorschrift gehart John Albrecht." 7 3/8" x 12 3/4".
Catalogue Note: This was found by Larry Derrer in Rockingham Co. There are several possible candidates for John Albrecht/Albright in the central Shenandoah Valley.
Condition
Good overall condition with stains, minor loss to two corners, and a small chip at the top edge, typical fold creases.
