MINIATURE EMPIRE CHEST AND INLAID LAP DESK, LOT OF TWO, mahogany veneer and multiple woods, chest with ogee scroll-front drawer, lap desk with inlaid parquetry designs. Late 19th/early 20th century. Chest 9 3/8" HOA, 9 1/2" WOA, 6" DOA.
Condition
Good condition overall, both pieces with sections of missing veneer (more loss to desk), minor assorted repairs, and backsplash of chest likely replaced.
