MOTHER-OF-PEARL / SHELL WATCH HUTCHES / STANDS, LOT OF SIX, comprising a Grand Tour example with a small panel featuring a painted-on-glass scene depicting a classical building, two chair-form examples with carved leaf backs, a clam shell example mounted upright with small shells in the base holding a metal ring with hook that holds the watch, an alabaster-based example with brass mounting which holds a ruby flashed shell-form dish, and a carved nautilus shell example which has a slot to hold something, possibly a watch. 19th and 20th century. Largest 7 3/4" HOA, 5 3/4" WOA.
Good condition overall with scattered minor wear and discoloration to all pieces; the Grand Tour example having breakage to the shell dish and a break to the metal ring which supports that dish; edge roughness to the ruby flash dish.
