MV-1 MOUNT VERNON PRESSED OPEN SALTS, LOT OF TWO, strong, slightly milky bluish aquamarine and light green, scallop-and-point rim, blue example with a very thick base. Scarce. Probably Mount Vernon Glass Co., possibly Boston & Sandwich Glass Co. 1835-1850. 1 7/8" H, 2" x 2 3/4".

Blue example with light flaking/mold roughness to interior rim, and chip to one base corner; green example with flake to top of rim, some interior mold roughness, and a chip and flake to base edge.
