NANTUCKET LIGHTSHIP WOVEN-SPLINT FRIENDSHIP BASKET, traditional oval stave-type form with wrapped rim, pinned swing handle, turned wooden bottom, and stylized carved seagulls applied to wooden panel on lid, signed and dated "1971" to underside of base, retaining original lightly varnished surface. Dated 1971. 13" HOA (including handle), 10 1/4" D rim.
