NE-1 VARIANT NEW ENGLAND MARKED PRESSED OPEN SALT, fiery opalescent, embossed under base, scallop-and-point rim. Rare. New England Glass Co. 1830-1845. 1 3/4" H, 2 1/8" x 3".
Having a sizeable sliver chip to the underside of the base and lacking a foot; additional flaking to the rim and roughness to the corner columns.
