NEW ENGLAND CHIPPENDALE CARVED MAHOGANY CORNER CHAIR, featuring molded crest rail, complex pierced splat, and square legs with inner edge chamfer and beaded profile, joined by X-form stretcher. Retaining original pine cornerblocks and an early surface with rich color. Probably Massachusetts. Circa 1780. 31" HOA, 17" SQ seat.
