NEW ENGLAND SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) MEMORIAL / MOURNING SCENE, watercolor on paper, for Robert Cotting (D. 1820) and Robert Cotting Jr. (1768-1808), painted by "JERUSHA COTTING" (1802-1900), with written family note on reverse. Housed in a period gilt frame. Likely Massachusetts. First half 19th century. 20" x 17" sight, 26" x 22 1/2" sight.
Condition
Very good overall visual condition, with moderate to heavy losses to eglomise. Not examined outside of frame.
