NEW JERSEY GOLF CLUB PRESENTATION / TROPHY SILVER-OVERLAY GLASS WATER CARAFE, colorless, carafe having a fluted-cut neck and flared rim, a bulbous body, and a cut rayed base, overlay having all-over scrolled decoration with a vignette engraved, "GOLF CLUB / LAKEWOOD / NEW JERSEY / OPEN HANDICAP FOURSOMES / February 22nd 1898. / Won BY", with no winner name, also engraved to side of neck "FAW / AND / [GW?]". Overlay marked "SOLID SILVER / 312 / PATENTED" near base. Late 19th century. 8" HOA.

Condition
Very good overall condition with minor to moderate wear and surface scratches, other imperfections to silver including nicks, one or a few minor dents, and minor worn spots to engraving, glass possibly having a few minute/small nicks, some interior residue mostly at base.
