NEW JERSEY SLAVE MANUMISSION MANUSCRIPT DOCUMENT, dated December 1, 1823, "... I, Benjamin M. Curry of the township of Chester in the county of Morris have liberated, manumitted and set free my Black Woman Jane, a slave aged thirty five years or there abouts and I do hereby liberate, manumit, & set free my negro woman and discharge her from all service...", signed by BM Curry and two witnesses, single seal intact, with docketing on verso. 5 3/4" x 8".
