NONOTUCK / CORTICELLI COUNTER-TOP GENERAL STORE ADVERTISING SPOOL CABINET, fine vertical form with mahogany veneers and canted front profile, featuring 14 drawers, lower example marked "Nonotuck Silk Co.", retaining original knobs, upper examples on glass drawers marked "CORTICELLI SILK CO". Retains remnants of original printed label applied verso and an old surface. Fourth quarter 19th century. 31 1/2" H, 18 1/2" SQ (base).
