NORTH CAROLINA CHERRY TILT-TOP CANDLESTAND, rectangular cut-corner top over baluster-turned pedestal, raised on a tripod base with downswept terminating in spike feet. Retains an old surface with warm color. Probably Arcadia, Davidson Co., North Carolina. Circa 1820. 28 1/2" H, 20" x 24" top.

Very good overall condition, old break with associated repair to one leg, and probably old break with associated repair near lock, with areas of expected weathering and wear.
