NORTH CAROLINA EARTHENWARE / REDWARE TABLE ARTICLES, LOT OF FIVE,
comprising two yellow-glazed covered examples including a Jugtown tureen with applied horizontal handles and one Rainbow Pottery with applied tab handles, and three examples with tobacco spit glaze including a cup and saucer set and a 10 3/8" D plate. Marks to underside include stamped "RAINBOW POTTERY / HAND / MADE / SANFORD N.C.", impressed jug encircled by "JUGTOWN / WARE", and "MASTER / BEN OWEN / POTTER".

Three mostly undamaged, except tureen having a few very minute glaze flakes; plate having scattered scratches from use; Jugtown covered bowl having paint touch-up to underside of cover, probably as made; cup and saucer each having one to two moderate flakes.
