comprising two salt-glazed examples including a stamped "S. BELL & SONS / STRASBURG", approximately one-gallon capacity cylindrical-form jar having cobalt brushed dropped feather decoration repeated four times off collar, a Moore County, NC attributed conical-form cream riser with light cobalt brushed area below rim, and a single lead-glazed dirt dish.
The pottery of Samuel Leonard Bell (1811-1891) and/or his sons Richard Franklin, Turner Ashby, and Charles Forrest Bell, Strasburg, VA; and others.
