OHIO ATTRIBUTED APPLIQUE AND PIECED QUILTS, LOT OF THREE, hand-stitched, comprising a "Tulip" applique quilt, having 15 pattern blocks in print and solid yellow, possibly fugitive green, fabrics with grid and outline quilting, alternating with plain whole blocks having motif and grid quilting, double border to all four sides with grid and chain quilting, applied binding, three paneled plain backing; a "Long Pointed Star" variation pieced quilt, having 15 pattern blocks in yellow and pink print fabrics, alternating with whole white blocks, plain border to all four sides, outline and diagonal quilting, knife binding, three paneled plain backing; and a "Garden Maze" pieced quilt, having repeated design in reddish pink print and plain white fabrics, plain white border to all four sides, plume, running plume, grid, and diagonal straight-line quilting, applied binding, three paneled plain backing. "Tulip" in good overall condition, top with significant fading to print fabrics, some light toning and scattered strains, binding with wear and tears being significant along top, backing with some very light toning, a few tears in one half, a few stains; "Star" in fair overall condition, top with typical loss/deterioration to dark print on pink fabrics, some toning and scattered stains, some tears mostly along one end edge, backing with light toning, a few holes, some scattered stains/spotting; and "Garden Maze" in fair to good overall condition, top with typical loss/deterioration to dark print on reddish pink fabrics, some very light toning, scattered stains and spotting, backing with some light toning notably along fold lines, some scattered stains and spotting.
