OHIO SIGNED POPLAR FOOT STOOL, turned legs and shaped skirt, upholstered seat, signed "No. 13 Made by Harry Ernsberger" to interior of skirt. First half 20th century. 10" H, 15 1/2" x 10 1/2".
Catalogue Note: Harry C. Ernsberger (1878-1953) was born in Medina, Ohio. He spent most of his life as a woodworker in north central Ohio. In the 1920 and 1930 Federal Census he is listed as a carpenter, in the 1940 and 1950 census he is listed as a cabinetmaker.
Condition
Very good as-found condition, some wear to finish, fading and wear to upholstery.
