OPALESCENT TEAKETTLE INK BOTTLE, teakettle of 12-lobed form with vertical ribs between lobes with a button on top, reminiscent of a gourd, octagonal neck protruding diagonally from the base and body, factory polished plain mouth and smooth base. Various makers. Third quarter 19th century. 2 1/2" H, 1 3/4" D base.

Excellent condition with perhaps moderate high point wear to lobed body and with a small bruise (no glass missing) to the button on top.
