PAINT-DECORATED AND PATINATED METAL OWL FIGURAL WATCH HUTCH / STAND, cast in the form of a ruffled owl with finely articulated feathers, set into a round wooden base, having a hook in its mouth to support the watch. Together with a gold-toned 7-jewel pocket watch marked "Elgin Natl Watch Co." to dial. Continental, possibly German. Late 19th century. 6 5/8" HOA.
Condition
Excellent condition with some nicking to edges of base and light to moderate losses of painted surface mainly around wings and tail feathers.
