PAIR OF AMERICAN, PROBABLY MARYLAND, CHIPPENDALE MAHOGANY SIDE CHAIRS, featuring shaped crestrail, pierced crestrail, raised on square legs joined by stretcher base, later upholstery. Yellow pine secondary wood. Retains an old surface with warm color. Fourth quarter 18th century. 37 3/4" HOA, 18 1/2" H seat, 16" D seat.
