PAIR OF AMERICAN SCHOOL (19TH CENTURY) FOLK ART PORTRAITS, oil on canvas, each a waist-length depiction, he wearing a black suit, and she wearing a white bonnet, no signature (s) located. Housed in original gilt frames. Circa 1840. 26 1/2" x 21" sight, 34" x 29" OA (each).
Condition
Good to very good overall visual condition, gentleman with moderate craquelure and areas of crazing on and around face and with minor losses. Frames with scattered very minor surface abrasions.
