PAIR OF AMERICAN SCHOOL (FOURTH QUARTER 19TH/EARLY 20TH CENTURY) FOLK ART HUNTING / SPORTING SCENES WITH RHODE ISLAND ASSOCIATION, oil on canvas (loosely placed on board), each depicting hunters and dogs in landscape setting, housed in a gilt frame with molded-composition ornamentation, one signed and inscribed "Henry M. Stone / NEWPORT, R. I." Fourth quarter 19th/early 20th century. Each 11 1/2" x 17 1/2" sight, 16 3/4" x 22 3/4" OA.
Provenance: The Important Americana Collection of Barbara M. and the late Charlie Hunter, Staunton, VA.

Condition

Each in good overall condition with minor discoloration, one example loose in frame. Frames with moderate wear and losses, possible repairs.
