PAPER LABELED LEDIARDS MORNING CALL BITTERS BOTTLE WITH VIRGINIA INTEREST, olive green, cylinder form with long neck, embossed "LEDIARDS / MORNING CALL", having been reused/refilled multiple times, with layered paper labels for having contained Pure Rye Whiskey when sold by a D. B. Philips, druggist, of Warrenton, Virginia, and another period label on top advertising "Old Dominion Bitters" being sold by druggists Withers & Hamme, also of Warrenton VA. Applied tapered mouth, indented smooth base. Circa 1865. 9 5/8" H.

Condition

Bottle undamaged; both paper labels with heavy staining/discoloration and with moderate losses.
