PAPIER MACHE YOUNG LADY DOLL, unmarked, shoulder plate head, fixed glass brown eyes lacking pupils, hand-painted facial features including eyebrows, and a pink closed mouth, cloth stuffed torso body and legs, kid-leather arms, jointed at shoulders, hips and knees, molded hair painted black with long corkscrew curls. Period clothing including a white printed cotton dress with lace trim, matching bonnet and period undergarments, red leather shoes and a small purse. Third quarter 19th century. 19" H.

Very good overall condition with expected wear, face and shoulder with expected cracks, separation to one half of head and extending below and around one ear and resulting in a small loss of material, clothing with soiling, deterioration and minor losses.
