PARR ATTRIBUTED BALTIMORE, MARYLAND / RICHMOND, VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE JAR, salt-glazed, "3" gallon capacity mark, shouldered cylindrical form with squared rim, beaded neck ring, and applied arched grooved handles. Brushed cobalt upright tulip and foliage decoration on each side, additional cobalt at handle terminals. Probably David Parr Jr. (1819-1882), Baltimore, MD or Richmond, VA. Mid 19th century. 13 7/8" H, 7 7/8" D rim.
