PARR FAMILY ATTRIBUTED, RICHMOND, VIRGINIA DECORATED STONEWARE GRADUATED JARS, LOT OF THREE, salt-glazed, each of cylindrical form with squared rim, comprising a "1" gallon capacity mark example, an approximately one-and-a-half gallon capacity example with "1/2" capacity mark, and a "2" gallon capacity mark example. Each having brushed cobalt dropped feather decoration from neck. Attributed to David Parr Jr. (1819-1882) or John L. Parr operating the Richmond Pottery Co. (after 1866-1890). 1860-1890. 10 1/8" H, 6 1/8" D rim to 12 5/8" H, 7 1/2" D rim.

"1" and "1/2" gallon examples mostly undamaged except "1/2" example having a very faint hairline to base and "1" example with minor chip to base edge; "2" gallon example having professional restoration/touch-ups to two cracks including one extending from rim to base and an approximately 5" L curved hairline extending from base.
