PATTERN-MOLDED DIAMOND QUILT CREAM AND SUGAR SET, cobalt blue, comprising a baluster-form creamer, and a hemispherical footed sugar bowl, each having an applied sloping foot, with the shoulder bowl's foot being pattern-molded, each having a rough pontil mark. Probably English. 1780-1820. 2 5/8" and 3 7/8" H.
Provenance: From the Peter H. Tillou estate, Litchfield, CT.
Undamaged with the sugar having some interior wear.
