PATTERN-MOLDED DIAMOND-QUILT GLASS FOOTED OPEN SALTS, LOT OF TWO, colorless, each having ogee bowls, raised on a short ribbed stem and applied scalloped foot, rough pontil marks. Possibly Thomas Cains' South Boston Flint Glass Works or Cains' Glass House. 1800-1830. 2 3/4" and 3" H.

Condition

Smaller example virtually undamaged with a minute flake to the rim; larger having post-production polishing to the foot.
